James E. Brawner
Chairman and President
James E. Brawner has 20 years of real estate experience, and currently serves as the Chairman and President of Brawner Management, The Brawner Company, Haven Harbour Marina Resorts and 888 17th Street Corporation. He serves as a Trustee and fiduciary under multiple trusts with extensive real estate holdings, and is responsible for overseeing and enhancing the value of the firm’s existing assets and leading its new acquisition and development activities. James is also a principal in 888 Realty Investors, a Washington-based real estate investment partnership with a portfolio including over $100 million in residential, multi-family, office, commercial, light industrial, condo conversion, and retail properties. Jamie is a graduate of the College of Business Administration at the University of Rhode Island and has done post-graduate work at the University of Economics in Prague, as well as in the LAP program at Georgetown University. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Golden Triangle Business Improvement District in Washington, D.C., and the Young Professionals Board of the Sibley Memorial Hospital Foundation.
Brendan Harrington
Vice President and Asset Manager
Brendan Harrington is the Vice President and Director of Asset Management at Brawner Management. He has been working at the company since June 2016. Previously, Brendan worked as a Real Estate Analyst at Aldon Management Corp. He holds an MS in Real Estate and Finance from American University. He also received a BA in Business Administration with a concentration in Real Estate and Finance at American University.
Tyler Gibson
Assistant Vice President and Project Manager
Tyler Gibson currently assists managing both in-house and third party construction projects along with the accounting and financial reporting for select third party accounts. He also manages the residential properties that The Brawner Company owns on the Maryland's Eastern Shore. Before joining the team in 2017, Tyler graduated from Washington College with a BS in Business Management. He worked for Haven Harbour Marina Resorts, owned and operated by The Brawner Company, for three years and has prior working experience in construction.
Andrea Escobedo
Controller
Andrea Escobedo Garcia is the Controller at Brawner Management, having joined the company in November 2021. She oversees the accounting and financial operations for the company’s commercial, residential and Haven Harbour Marina Resorts properties. Holding a bachelor’s degree in public accounting with a major in Finance, Andrea brings seven years of experience with roles in accounting firms and the hospitality industry. Bilingual in Spanish and English, she is committed to ensuring efficient financial operations and clear communication across all areas of the business.
